Oops! Wrong turn…

Getting off track is rough going.

Trying to figure out how to get back on track is equally, if not more, difficult. The overwhelm builds up and it feels like there’s no way in hell you can stop to figure things out. Like if you do, your life might just steamroll right over you.

I know I’m a bit lost when my overwhelm kicks in. My mind is moving faster than my body and it leaves me feeling like a deer in headlights.

Does your to-do list get put on repeat, making it impossible to sit down and actually accomplish much. This frazzled state doesn’t offer any of us access to the parts of our brain that are good at achievement and excellence. The big tasks we do in this state aren’t usually the quality we’re happy with.

It’s easy to fall into the trap of feeling like multi-tasking your way through your day is efficient. Distraction is at an all-time high with small things vying for, and winning, your attention. Some of you might find procrastination creeps in.

Whatever overwhelm looks like for you, it’s a mental state that you probably don’t want to be in. So…choose again. Use my Constructive Living ‘C’s to get you up and out.

Take a deep breath. Start with Clarity then take Control. What needs to get done? And in what order? Let your feelings inform you at this stage, make adjustments, and then let them go so you can take action (Control).

Time management is really mind management.

I’m offering a FREE Workshop series: Get Back In the Driver’s Seat on December 6-8th (@ 11am EST) to give you more support around this. It’ll be worth your time.
