Right now!

Now.

We’ve all been told that wanting something right away is impractical, impossible, or immature.

But what if now is the time?

The time to:

- enjoy your life while you’re working hard

- accept yourself while you’re evolving

- slow down while you’ve got a million things to do

You get to claim your time. To decide what makes sense and what feels good for you and your family.

We recently went on vacation with another family and my mind was blown when the other mother said to just leave the dishes in the sink until morning because she had an a.m. clean up routine that let her enjoy her evenings with her kids.

As she was telling me this, I realized I don’t often stop to question whether I could choose to do routine things differently.

I followed her lead. We left the dishes, hung out with our kiddos, and did the work in the morning. It all got done, just in a different order than I was used to. Maybe more got done because we also had more fun.

After consideration, I still like my dishes done before bed, but seeing my friend choose to do things differently let me see my own life differently.

Dishes are a small thing, but permission to question and choose a new habit is huge.

So, now I’m asking you.

What could you maybe switch up, change around, or see differently that would let you enjoy your life more while still getting things done?
